At least one season of on-water rowing experience is required for camp. A season is defined as 4-8 weeks spent on the water or on the erg, whether recreational, club or competitive. Ex. One Year includes a fall rowing season (club or varsity), winter erg season and spring on-water racing season. Fall and spring (or any combination of two seasons) is equivalent to two seasons. Just fall, or winter, or spring (or summer) is one season.

A complimentary airport shuttle will be available ONLY to those flying into the Portland Jetport in Portland, ME. The shuttle will depart from baggage claim at 1:00 p.m. on August 17th and return campers to the Jetport by 1:15 p.m. on August 23rd. Please schedule flights to arrive prior to 1:00 p.m. on the 17th and depart after 3:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
*We cannot accommodate flights that require an adult to receive or drop off unaccompanied minors. Families must make arrangements to transport campers to and from camp who are too young to fly alone.

Please expand on dietary needs by letting us know specific foods that can and cannot be eaten. For instance, if Vegan but sometimes eat dairy, please let us know. Bishopswood works hard to meet everyone's dietary needs. If dietary needs are very restrictive, it would be helpful to know what foods can be eaten and enjoyed.

Northeast Rowing Center is an organizational member of USRowing. For insurance purposes, all participants must be at least Basic members of USRowing. If not a member at the time of registration, please note "n/a." We will follow up later on this. Most participants will have had to join USRowing to compete for their program.

SafeSport Training

As the National Governing Body for Rowing, federal law requires that all USRowing members 18 years of age and older be SafeSport trained. If turning 18 during camp, please complete the training prior to arrival at camp (https://safesporttrained.org).
Participant has a basic ability to swim including the ability to tread water for 10 minutes and swim 100-yards.

Cancelation Policy: Cancelations made in writing to info@rowcamp.com by April 30th are refundable subject to a $350 cancelation fee. May 1st through the start of camp, full payment is due with registration. Cancelations on or after May 1st are non-refundable for any reason. Should Northeast Rowing Center need to cancel camp completely, we will refund all but a $50 processing fee.
